Jordy Nelson Shines At Home In Win Versus Detroit

by Derek Yoder | Mon, Sep 26th 12:08am EDT

Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Jordy Nelson shined in his first game at home since 2014. Jordy racked up 6-of-7 targets for 101 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's win versus the Lions. Nelson will now enter the Packers bye week with a stat line of 17 catches for 202 yards and four touchdowns. After recording his third and fourth touchdown on Sunday, Nelson now leads all Wide Receivers with touchdown receptions through three weeks.

Fantasy Impact:

Jordy has now scored in three straight games to start the season. Not only is it Jordy's first time reaching that feat, it's also the first time he's scored a touchdown versus the Lions since 2011. On Sunday we were able to see a glimpse of what the Packers offense could look like as they were able to rattle off 34 points. If the Packers want to continue their success, they'll need to rely heavily on the Wide Receivers especially Jordy Nelson. The Packers enter week four on their bye week but will remain at home starting in week five as they face the Giants, Bears, and Cowboys.
