Latavius Murray carried the ball 10 times for 37 yards and a TD, adding a single reception for one yard on Sunday against the Titans. (ESPN, 24/7 Sports)

Fantasy Impact:

Latavius Murray came into this season as the expected workhorse back for the Oakland Raiders. Jack Del Rio, Oakland's head coach, was quoted as saying he wanted to give Murray more carries this year than last, when he totaled 266 carries (third most in the NFL). That has not been the case through the first three games. Murray is on pace for just 192 carries and handled only 42 percent of Oakland's rushing attempts against the Titans, albeit scoring their lone rushing TD. On the year, Murray is averaging 4.8 yards per carry, as well as one TD per game. With that being said, it is important to realize that Murray is in a full-blown "running back by committee" situation.
