Phillip Rivers throws for 330 yards in loss to Colts

by Sean Fitzpatrick | Mon, Sep 26th 12:57pm EDT

Phillip Rivers threw for 330 yards in a crushing 26-22 loss to the Colts while completing 26-of-39 passes. Rivers didn't throw any touchdowns or interceptions but did lose a fumble on a sack by LB Erik Walden. Rivers added one carry for two yards.

Fantasy Impact:

Rivers will have his ups-and-downs with two of his top pass catchers out for the season, WR Keenan Allen and RB Danny Woodhead. The emergence of WR Tyrell Williams and RB Melvin Gordon have been a bright spot so depending on the matchup will determine Rivers' value. Rivers will take his 5TD/0 INT ratio to a favorable matchup with the Saints. Rivers will be a QB1 for Week 4.
