Thomas Rawls to miss a 'few weeks' of football activities

by Anthony Cervino | Mon, Sep 26th 3:30pm EDT

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll told the media that RB Thomas Rawls (fibula) is suffering from a "fibula issue" in his leg that occurred during Week 2's loss to the Los Angeles Rams. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting that Rawls is dealing with a "hairline fracture" and is expected to miss "a few weeks" of football activities due to the ailment. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

On top of a disappointing start to the 2016 season, Rawls is dealing with yet another injury. The second-year rusher is in danger of losing his starting job to an emerging Christine Michael, who has out-played Rawls thus far in 2016. For the foreseeable future, Michael should be considered the No. 1 rusher on Seattle's depth chart.
