Mark Ingram discovers end zone on Monday Night Football

by Jake Stern-Powell | Mon, Sep 26th 11:47pm EDT

While by no means a dominant game, Mark Ingram had his best game so far this season with 77 yards rushing and 30 yards (including a touchdown) receiving.

Fantasy Impact:

The Saints strategy to balance their offense ended up with the ball in Ingram's hands more often, with him getting 12 out of the team's 23 total rushing attempts. Ingram also chipped in in the passing game, tying for the most passing targets out of the Saints' backfield and scoring a touchdown late in the game against the Falcons. If the Saints continue to involve Ingram in the passing game and keep giving him the ball in the backfield, he'll be able to maintain his RB1 status.
