Jay Cutler doubtful against Lions

Fantasy Impact:
Given that the Bears' offense has looked almost capable under backup Brian Hoyer's direction, and Cutler's lengthy injury history, it would be wise for the Bears to let him take a leisurely approach returning to the field, which it appears they are. Cutler reportedly won't have surgery but is likely to miss one or two more contests before getting under center. Hoyer, mentioned above, looks reliable for low-end QB2 production but, as he showed last week, is capable of occasionally-inspired performances and is worth snagging as a bye-week fill-in for owners in two-quarterback leagues.
