Aaron Rodgers shows up on Thursday Night Football
by Dakota Mitchell | Jets Correspondent | Fri, Oct 21st 9:13am EDT
Aaron Rodgers went 39-of-56 passing for 326 yards, three touchdowns, no interceptions, and one fumble lost in Thursday night's 26-10 victory over the Bears.
Fantasy Impact:
With the current state of the Packers backfield, Aaron Rodgers was forced to sling the rock a ridiculous 56 times Thursday night. His yards per attempt were low but the focus of this game was the short to intermediate routes and the Bears couldn't stop it. The Packers could have easily had two more touchdowns as Randall Cobb dropped one in the end zone on the first drive that stalled for a field goal, and then the Packers were stuffed on 4th and goal from the 1-yard line on their second drive. His fumble was the lone mishap, as his passes were sharp and Rodgers looked dominant throughout the night. Next up is an Atalanta team that gives up the 3rd most points to QBs (according to Yahoo), although they have been a bit stingier of late. Expect Rodgers to build on this momentum.
