Rob Gronkowski goes on IR ending his season

Patriots placed TE Rob Gronkowski (back surgery) on injured reserve, ending his season. The Patriots already designated a player to return, so he's done for the rest of the season/playoffs. (Field Yates on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This is bad news for Patriot fans and fantasy owners. The good news is he should be ready for OTAs in 2017. But next season fantasy owners will wonder if it is worth picking up the injury prone TE.
