Paxton Lynch manages offense conservatively in win

by Blake Glosson | Sun, Dec 4th 10:28pm EST

Paxton Lynch went 12-for-24 for 104 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions in the Broncos' 20-10 win over the Jaguars in Week 13. He also had two carries for 11 yards, and finished with a 61.8 QB rating.

Fantasy Impact:

Lynch got the start after Trevor Siemian was ruled out on Friday due to a sprained left foot. In just the second start of his career, the Memphis Tigers' product played ultra-conservatively and watched his defense carry the team to victory. It is a formula that has allowed the Broncos to win 20 of their last 28 regular season games, all without elite QB play. Although the Broncos' next opponent, the Titans, has allowed QBs to throw multiple TD passes in seven straight games (and 310+ yards in five of those seven games), neither Denver QB is a particularly inspiring option in a low-floor, low-ceiling Broncos passing attack.
