Jordan Matthews good to go for Week 14

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jordan Matthews (ankle) "will play" Week 14. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Matthews will be on the field Sunday versus the Redskins after missing last week's contest due to a sprained ankle suffered in Week 12. His return comes at the right time as Dorial Green-Beckham is ruled out of today's matchup with an abdomen injury. With Green-Beckham sidelined, Matthews is poised to see an uptick in his target share. He's been Philadelphia's most reliable wideout in 2016 catching 57 targets for 686 yards receiving and three touchdowns through 11 games. Facing a Redskins defense ranked 19th in fantasy production allowed to opposing WRs, Matthews is in the WR3 conversation for Week 14. Keep in mind that in five career games versus Washington, Matthews compiled a 23-346-3 stat line, which bodes well for his fantasy outlook in the first round of the fantasy playoffs.
