Geno Atkins records two sacks in Bengals win over Browns

Geno Atkins led the Cincinnati Bengals with two sacks in a 23-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Atkins also pitched in with four tackles in the win. The Bengals sacked Browns quarterback Robert Griffin III three times and limited him to 104 yards passing on the day. However, Griffin did escape for a one-yard score midway through the third quarter.
Fantasy Impact:
The 28-year-old defensive tackle has registered 6.5 sacks on the year following Sunday’s effort and is second on the team behind Carlos Dunlap who has seven sacks. Overall, the Cincinnati Bengals have failed to consistently pressure the quarterback this season with only 25 sacks, good for 24th in the NFL. Last season they were 10th best in the NFL with 42 sacks. With an upcoming matchup against a Steelers team that has only allowed 16 sacks this year, the Bengals defense is not a good option in week 15.
