Deonte Thompson caught 3 of 4 targets against the Washington Redskins and came up with 34 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy Impact:
Thompson was tied for third in targets Sunday with Daniel Brown but managed to out-produce the older tight end. While quarterback Matt Barkley has impressed relative to expectations, this remains a run-first offense and Barkley's talents aren't transcendent, so any Bears' third wide receiver is only likely to find fantasy value with the occasional touchdown grab, as Thompson did this weekend. Owners who must look to the Bears' passing game for fantasy players should stick with Cameron Meredith or Alshon Jeffrey.
