Drew Lock, Brett Rypien and Blake Bortles are ineligible to play Sunday’s Week 12 matchup against the Saints. All three Broncos’ QBs will not play, leaving RB Royce Freeman as the team’s emergency QB, per Mike Klis of 9 Sports. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: All three Broncos’ QBs were deemed high-risk and are ineligible to play against the Saints. None of the QBs were wearing a mask and close contact with someone who was infected. According to Mike Klis of 9 Sports, third-string RB Royce Freeman is the emergency QB. The Broncos will not forfeit the game and will Week 12 without a starting QB. This is an obvious downgrade to all Broncos’ skilled position players and bump up to Saints DST.

The Miami Dolphins did not activate RB Myles Gaskin (MCL) off IR Saturday by 4:00 PM EST, so he will be out on Sunday vs. the Jets. (Source: Barry Jackson on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: With Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) out, that leaves the Dolphins with Patrick Laird, Matt Breida, and DeAndre Washington in what is likely some sort of timeshare. Laird saw the highest % of snaps in Week 11 (27%) and could lead the charge on Sunday.

The Vikings downgraded TE Irv Smith (groin, back) from doubtful to out for Sunday’s Week 12 contest against the Panthers. (Source: Chris Tomasson on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Smith returned to action in Week 10’s loss to the Cowboys. He hauled in two receptions on both targets for 23 yards. Smith was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. He was unable to practice the rest of the week and was ultimately ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Panthers. Look for Kyle Rudolph to handle TE duties and can be used as a streamer in a plus matchup for Week 12.

The Bills placed WR John Brown on injured reserve Saturday due to a high-ankle sprain. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Brown will miss at least the next three games as he continues to recover from a high-ankle sprain. The Bills called up WR Jake Kumerow off the practice squad in a corresponding move. Brown will be eligible to return Week 15 against the Broncos. Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis will lead the Bills wideout corps while Brown is sidelined.

Seahawks RB Chris Carson (foot) is off the injury report and is expected to play Monday night against the Eagles. (Source: Adam Caplan on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Carson is expected to make his return Monday night against the Eagles after a month-long absence with the foot injury. Carson should take back his role as the lead back, with Carlos Hyde and DeeJay Dallas operating in complementary roles.

The Bengals activated WR Auden Tate from the reserve/COVID-19 list. (Source: Ben Baby on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Tate is on track to play in Week 12 against the Giants. He isn't a fantasy option, however, especially with Brandon Allen starting at quarterback for Cincinnati.

The Detroit Lions have relieved head coach Matt Patricia and general manager Bob Quinn of their duties. (Source: Detroit Lions on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Patricia went 13-29-1 during his tenure as the Lions head coach, a record that is sure to make ownership think twice about keeping you in that role. After back-to-back brutal losses to the Panthers and Texans, the Lions decided it was time to move on from both Patricia and Quinn.

With Tua Tagovailoa (thumb) downgraded to doubtful in Week 12, it’ll be Ryan Fitzpatrick likely getting the nod as the starting quarterback for the Dolphins against the Jets in Week 12. (Source: Mike Garafolo on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: With Tagovailoa doubtful, the keys to the kingdom will be handed back to Fitzpatrick for Week 12 against his former team. Consider him a high-upside QB2 against the Jets. DeVante Parker and Mike Gesicki should also be upgraded slightly as we know Fitzpatrick likes to throw it around the yard.

Dolphins rookie QB Tua Tagovailoa (thumb) has been downgraded to doubtful to play in Week 12 vs. the Jets. Ryan Fitzpatrick is now on track to be the starter. (Source: Mike Garafolo on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Tagovailoa suffered a thumb injury in practice and the Dolphins don’t want to push him to play when he’s not fully healthy. So the team will turn back to the veteran Fitzpatrick in a great matchup against his former team. Fitzpatrick should be considered a high-end QB2, and this move could be looked at as an upgrade to DeVante Parker’s and Mike Gesicki’s outlook.

Steelers RB James Conner has tested positive for COVID-19. He’ll have a second test to confirm the results, but he is likely out for the game vs. the Ravens on Tuesday night, if it even happens at all. (Source: Aditi Kinkhabwala on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Contact tracing is underway with the Steelers after Conner’s positive test. At this rate, it’s tough to see the Steelers vs. Ravens game taking place on Tuesday night in Week 12. Stay tuned for more details as it relates to COVID-19 cases for both the Steelers and Ravens. Conner’s likely backup would be Benny Snell with some rookie Anthony McFarland Jr. sprinkled in.

Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) is not traveling to Minnesota with the team and has officially been ruled out. (Source: Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Head coach Matt Rhule was pessimistic about McCaffrey (shoulder) playing this week, and now he’s officially been ruled out. With the Panthers on Bye in Week 13, the team decided to hold McCaffrey out this week in hopes of his return two weeks from now in Week 14. Fire up Mike Davis once again as a high-end RB2.

RB Jonathan Taylor was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Saturday and will not play in Sunday’s Week 12 contest against the Titans. (Source: Kevin Bowen on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: “Taylor had been in quarantine since his girlfriend learned Friday she tested positive for COVID-19 following an out of town trip,” per Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network. “Taylor didn’t test positive himself, but because of NFL protocols, he will not play on Sunday. He was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Saturday. Look for Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins to lead the Colts’ backfield in a divisional showdown against the Titans. With Taylor out, Hines becomes a borderline RB2 while Wilkins is considered a flex option in fantasy for Week 12.

Eagles coach Doug Pederson doesn't expect Zach Ertz (ankle, IR) to return on Monday night against Seattle. (Source: Zach Berman on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Instead, Pederson is hoping to have Ertz back in Week 13. It was looking like he would be back for Monday's Week 12 matchup, but it now appears as if Philadelphia will hold him out another game. The good news is there's reportedly been no setback. Richard Rodgers and Dallas Goedert will handle things at the tight end position for one more game.

CB Donte Jackson (toe) is doubtful for Sunday's Week 12 contest versus the Vikings. (Source: Carolina Panthers on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Jackson was unable to practice this week and is unlikely to play in Sunday's game against the Vikings. He is expected to miss his second straight contest due to a toe injury. Troy Pride will start at LCB if Jackson is ultimately ruled out on Sunday.

G Ezra Cleveland (ankle) will not play Sunday’s Week 12 contest against the Panthers. (Source: Chris Tomasson on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Erza was unable to practice this week and will not play in Sunday’s game against the Panthers. He has started the last four contests at RG. The Panthers run defense has been abysmal most of the season, the loss of Cleveland shouldn’t affect star RB Dalvin Cook too much. Look for Brett Jones to start at RG while Cleveland is sidelined.

Patriots' OT Isaiah Wynn (knee) has been ruled out for Week 12, per source. (Source: Jeff Howe on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Wynn suffered a knee injury against the Texans in Week 11 and failed to participate in practice this week. His injury is the latest to the Patriots' offensive line unit, which will need to continue shuffling healthy linemen to accommodate Wynn's absence at the left guard position. The Cardinals' defense has allowed just six rushing touchdowns on the year, which will present a challenge to the Patriots' run-centric offensive scheme with a weakened offensive line in Week 12.

Patriots' RB Rex Burkhead (knee) confirmed that his season is over, per source. (Source: Mike Reiss on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Burkhead was an emerging weapon in the Patriots' backfield, seeing his role expand in both the ground game and aerial attack resulting in six total touchdowns for the veteran running back. RB Damien Harris and James White will now see an increase in carries, with White likely being the beneficiary of targets in the Patriots' passing game. RB Sony Michel also returns from IR in Week 12 and could earn some carries against the Cardinals' defense.

Titans' CB Adoree' Jackson (knee) will continue to miss time in Week 12 after being activated from Injured Reserve, per source. (Source: Tennessee Titans on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The Titans' defense has allowed a remarkable 398.7 yards per game this season. Most of the yardage has been given up through the air and Jackson's return would add some insurance in the Titans' secondary. With Jackson's continued absence in Week 12, the Titans D/ST provides minimal value against a Colts offense averaging close to 300 net passing yards per game.
