Latest Player Updates

LeSean McCoy (illness) is questionable for Sunday's AFC Championship game against the Titans. (Source: Chiefs.com)

Fantasy Impact: He is tentatively expected to suit up but we don't expect it to make a difference for fantasy purposes. Damien Williams played 62-of-62 snaps last weekend and should once again resume bell-cow duties.

George Kittle wasn't listed on the 49ers' final injury report. (Source: David Lombardi on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Kittle missed practice on Wednesday but practiced in full on Thursday and Friday. He was held to just 16 yards in the 49ers' Divisional Round win over the Vikings but we expect him to be more involved on Sunday afternoon against the Packers.

New Orleans police have a warrant to arrest Odell Beckham Jr. for slapping a police officer on the back side after the NCAAF national championship game. (Source: SaintsNOW on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Beckham was celebrating in the LSU locker room and was caught on camera for the incident. He has also been in the news recently for handing out cash to players following the game. The good news is nobody was harmed during either incident.

Re-signing linebacker Bud Dupree is a "top priority" for the Steelers this offseason according to the team. (Source: Gerry Dulac on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Both the owner and head coach have said this, so it appears that something will likely get done, either a long-term contract or the franchise tag. Dupree was one of the top players on the Steelers' 2019 defense which picked up steam as the season progressed and turned into one of the best units in the league. They figure to be a popular D/ST in 2020 fantasy football drafts.

Zach Line has announced his retirement from football. (Source: Zach Line on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The 29-year-old will step away after seven seasons in the league with the Vikings and Saints. One of the few fullbacks remaining in the league, it will be interesting to see how the Saints replace Line in their offense, assuming they continue with a fullback.

The Steelers still don't have a concrete timeline for QB Ben Roethlisberger's rehab on his season-ending elbow injury, but the Steelers remain encouraged as everything so far has been 'positive.' (Source: Brooke Pryor on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: It sounds like there will be some uncertainty around Roethlisberger throughout the offseason, but hopefully there will be some clarity as we approach training camps. As we saw in 2019, even a veteran Roethlisberger is an upgrade over the team's other options. As such, it wouldn't be suprising to see the Steelers address the quarterback position this offseason via free agency or the NFL Draft.

Travis Kelce (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. (Source: Kansas City Chiefs on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: There is no concern over his status for Sunday's AFC Championship game against the Titans. Kelce erupted for 10 catches, 134 yards, and three touchdowns this past weekend and should be all systems go this Sunday afternoon.

Allen Lazard had one carry for 5 years in the contest, but was later injured late in the second quarter when running back Aaron Jones ran into him. Lazard was evaluated on the sidelines before heading into the locker room before intermission. He returned to the field in the second half but only played 20 snaps over the course of the game (31% of the offensive snaps). Lazard was not targeted in the passing game.

Fantasy Impact: One will have to monitor Lazard's health in the days prior to the Packers Conference Finals match against the San Francisco 49ers. If he is unable to go on Sunday expect the other Packers wide-outs to share the snaps (Jake Kumerow, Geronimo Allison and Marquez Valdes-Scantling)

The junior Clemson Tigers wide receiver has declared his intentions to enter the NFL Draft in April. In his last two seasons of collegiate football Higgins caught 59 passes in each season, scoring a total of 26 touchdowns while accumulating 2,103 receiving yards. (Source: Tee Higgins on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Considered by many to be one of the top-five receivers in this years class one can expect Tee Higgins to be selected in the first two rounds of the draft. Higgins is often compared to an A.J. Green type wide receiver because of his tall, lengthy body and his prowess in the red-zone.

Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald has agreed to a one-year deal to return to the Cardinals for his 17th NFL season in 2020, according to multiple reports. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Despite his advancing age, Fitzgerald is still a productive NFL wide receiver, especially in the Kliff Kingsbury's pass-heavy offense in Arizona. In 2019, he caught 75 of his 109 targets for 804 yards and four touchdowns.

Luke Kuechly has announced his retirement from the NFL on Tuesday. (Source: Carolina Panthers on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Kuechly, who was under contract for two more years with Carolina, has announced his retirement. This comes as a shock as Kuechly was playing at a high-level, and just recorded his eighth consecutive 100-plus tackle season. The All-Pro linebacker played all eight seasons in Carolina, totaling 1.092 tackles, 12.5 sacks, 18 interceptions and seven forced fumbles across 118 career games.

Jacob Hollister caught 5-of-6 targets for 47 scoreless yards in the Seahawks' Divisional Round loss to the Packers.

Fantasy Impact: Hollister showed some life for Seattle following the injury of Will Dissly. However, he didn't display much of a fantasy ceiling. He's a restricted free agent this summer so it'll be interesting to see what Seattle has in mind for the tight end position.

Tyler Lockett caught nine passes for 136 yards and a touchdown as the Seahawks fell to the Packers 28-23 in the Divisional Round.

Fantasy Impact: It was a strange fantasy season for Lockett, who began the season on a tear before dealing with some injuries and underperformance. However, it all amounted to a 1,000+ yard season with eight touchdowns. If the 27-year-old stays healthy next season he should have a good chance to best those numbers.

D.K. Metcalf caught 4-of-5 targets for 59 scoreless yards in the Seahawks' 28-23 Divisional Round loss to the Packers.

Fantasy Impact: Metcalf was a weekly WR3/FLEX for fantasy purposes this year, finishing the regular season with 900 yards and seven touchdowns. His rookie season highlight was the team's Wild Card win over the Eagles when Metcalf went off for 160 yards and a score. He'll enter 2020 with room for growth production-wise.

Russell Wilson completed 21-of-31 passes for 277 yards and a touchdown as the Seahawks fell to the Packers in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.

Fantasy Impact: Wilson also scrambled seven times for 64 yards. He threw just one touchdown but played magnificently. The Seahawks likely would've had a better chance of winning if they unleashed Wilson earlier in the game, as opposed to continuing to try and "establish the run". Wilson will enter 2020 as an elite fantasy quarterback once again.

The Kansas City Chiefs D/ST allowed 442 yards and had five sacks and one fumble recovery in a 51-31 win over the Houston Texans Sunday night.

Fantasy Impact: It was a rough start for the Chiefs as they fell behind 24-0 Sunday but the defense made some timely stops and recorded five sacks. This unit will enter next season as a solid starting option after making huge strides over the second half of the season.

Travis Homer rushed three times for 13 yards and caught two passes for 27 yards in the Seahawks' 28-23 Divisional Round loss to the Packers.

Fantasy Impact: He was out-touched by Marshawn Lynch 12-to-5. Homer saw some run down the stretch with both Chris Carson (hip) and Rashaad Penny (knee) sidelined, finishing 14 receptions over Seattle's final three games. However, he likely won't be very fantasy relevant come 2020.

Harrison Butker was 1-for-1 on field goal and 6-for-7 on extra point attempts in the Chiefs' 51-31 win over the Texans Sunday night.

Fantasy Impact: Butker hit seven kicks with his lone miss an extra point. He enters next season as an elite option at the mercurial kicking position.

Marshawn Lynch rushed 12 times for 26 yards and two touchdowns in the Seahawks' 28-23 Divisional Round loss to the Packers.

Fantasy Impact: He wasn't targeted in the passing game. Lynch finishes his three-game run with Seattle with a rushing line of 30-67-4. The touchdowns were nice from a fantasy perspective but he didn't show a lot of juice left in his legs. We expect him to stay retired this time.

Darwin Thompson did not have a carry or target in the Chiefs' 51-31 win over the Texans Sunday night.

Fantasy Impact: Thompson did not see any touches Sunday but enters next season as an intriguing fantasy prospect pending Kansas City's offseason moves.
