Detroit Lions D/ST came up with two fumble recoveries, an interception, and a sack in the Lions’ 23-22 loss to the Packers on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: The Lions’ defense handled Aaron Rodgers and Co. effectively early on in the game, though the Packers stormed back, hanging 23 on Detroit and ultimately winning the game. A matchup against a quality Vikings defense in Week 7 will be a tall task for this defensive group.

Matt Prater made all five of his field goal attempts and his lone extra-point attempt in the Lions’ 23-22 loss to the Packers on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: Prater was the Lions’ offense on Monday, scoring 15 of the team’s 22 points in the loss. He’s a quality option at kicker on a weekly basis.

Jesse James caught his lone target for eight yards in the Lions’ 23-22 loss to the Packers on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: It was the same old story for James, who continues to be a non-factor in Detroit. He needs to be left on the waiver wire in almost any sized league.

T.J. Hockenson corralled four of six targets for 21 yards in the Lions’ 23-22 loss to the Packers on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: Hockenson had another quiet game in Monday’s loss, going for a meager 21 yards. He hasn’t eclipsed 30 yards receiving since his Week 1 blowup, and he’s impossible to trust in 12-team leagues.

Marvin Jones caught two of five targets for 17 yards in the Lions’ 23-22 loss to the Packers on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: Jones crashed to earth in this one, accounting for just 17 yards. Given the strength of Green Bay’s secondary, better days are likely ahead for Jones who will look to bounce back next week against Minnesota.

Kenny Golladay brought in five of nine targets for 121 yards in the Lions’ 23-22 loss to the Packers on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: Golladay led the team in receiving by a comfortable margin, accounting for nearly half of Matthew Stafford’s passing yards. Golladay’s target share and big-play upside will keep him on the WR2 map moving forward.

J.D. McKissic rushed three times for four yards and caught two passes for seven yards in the Lions’ 23-22 loss to the Packers on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: McKissic is merely the change-of-pace back in the Lions’ offense. He doesn’t warrant fantasy consideration outside of deeper leagues.

Kerryon Johnson rushed 13 times for 34 yards and a touchdown, adding two receptions for 27 yards in the Lions’ 23-22 loss to the Packers on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: Though Johnson continues to operate as the bellcow, his efficiency continues to leave fantasy owners wanting more. He racked up only 61 yards, but his touchdown made the performance worthwhile. Next up, he'll take on Minnesota in Week 7.

Matthew Stafford completed 18 of 32 pass attempts for 265 yards, adding three carries for nine yards in the Lions’ 23-22 loss to the Packers on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: Stafford didn't turn the ball over, but he couldn't get the Lions on the board with his arm in this game. It was an understandably tough afternoon against a strong Green Bay defense, and another divisional matchup awaits in Week 7 with a game against the Vikings.

Aaron Rodgers completed 24 of 39 pass attempts for 283 yards, two TDs, and an INT, adding three carries for 10 yards in the Packers’ 23-22 win over the Lions on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: Rodgers didn't have a huge game from an efficiency or a yardage standpoint, but his two touchdowns and 283 yards were enough to make him an effective fantasy play in Week 6. He could be poised for a huge game in Week 7 against the Raiders.

Jamaal Williams rushed 14 times for 104 yards, adding four receptions for 32 yards and a TD in the Packers’ 23-22 win over the Lions on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: Williams saw extended run in this one after Aaron Jones lost a fumble and dropped a would-be touchdown early in the game. Williams cruised to an enormous 136-yard day, hitting paydirt as well. It’s unclear what the backfield touch distribution will be moving forward, though it’s likely Jones still has a long leash, given his big-time production this season.

Allen Lazard caught four of five targets for 65 yards and a TDin the Packers’ 23-22 win over the Lions on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: With Davante Adams (turf toe) out and Geronimo Allison evaluated for a concussion, Lazard had his number called and made a big impact. He led the team in receiving and scored his first touchdown of the season. If the Packers are shorthanded in Week 7, Lazard could be an interesting streamer or daily dart throw against Oakland.

Aaron Jones carried 11 times for 47 yards, adding four receptions for 13 yards in the Packers’ 23-22 win over the Lions on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: Jones found his way to the doghouse after scoring four times in last week’s win. He lost a fumble and dropped a wide-open touchdown in the first quarter and promptly saw Jamaal Williams rumble his way to 136 yards and a touchdown. Jones should be afforded some slack after the monster games he’s accumulated thus far and has a chance to rectify this performance in Week 7 against Oakland.

Geronimo Allison caught three of seven targets for 40 yards in the Packers’ 23-22 win over the Lions on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: Allison saw a healthy dose of targets but left the game early with a possible concussion. He should be considered questionable for Week 7 against Oakland.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling caught both of his targets for 48 yards in the Packers’ 23-22 win over the Lions on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: It was another ho-hum performance for the presumed top option at receiver sans Davante Adams. MVS has a chance to bounce back in a generous Week 7 matchup with the Raiders.

Jimmy Graham brought in two of five targets for 17 yards in the Packers’ 23-22 win over the Lions on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: Graham was virtually invisible throughout most of the evening, yielding targets and receptions to the likes of Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. He’s a risky TE2 with a rock-bottom floor.

Category: Game Recaps

Mason Crosby made all three of his field goal attempts and both of his extra-point attempts in the Packers’ 23-22 win over the Lions on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: His three makes included the game-winning 23-yarder as time expired. Keep rolling with Crosby as an elite kicker option.

Green Bay Packers prized rookie safety Darnell Savage Jr. has been ruled out for Week 6 against the Detroit Lions. (Source: Packers.com)

Fantasy Impact: Savage has been an impact player in both real life and in IDP. Luckily for fantasy owners he was on the wrong side of doubtful since Friday, so most, if not all, should have already found and started their replacement options.

Detroit Lions star corner Darius Slay is active for their Week 6 tilt against the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football. (Source: Tim Twentyman on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Slay being active necessitates an immediate downgrade for Marquez Valdes-Scantling. With Davante Adams ruled out, MVS may see a heavy dosage of the Lions top corner. If he can get loose against the Lions front seven, this could be the Aaron Jones show all over again.

Los Angeles Rams star cornerback Aqib Taib was placed on injured reserve due a rib injury. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Eligible to return in Week 15, the Rams will have to find a way to right the ship on offense to make coming back worth it for the veteran corner. Those in interception-heavy IDP leagues with a CB slot should explore other options.
