J.D. McKissic sees three touches in loss

J.D. McKissic had one carry for seven yards and caught both of his targets for seven additional yards in the Lions’ 38-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact

McKissic has been largely phased out of the offense as of late. The pass-catching specialist hasn't seen too much work in the receiving game, being replaced by Ty Johnson in that department while Bo Scarborough and Wes Hills handled early-down work. McKissic doesn't need to be rostered at this point, even in deep PPR leagues.

J.D. McKissic totals 18 yards in loss

J.D. McKissic rushed once for two yards, adding four receptions for 16 yards in the Lions’ 20-7 loss to the Vikings on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact

McKissic had another small effort, as Bo Scarborough continues to dominate backfield touches. The former still has some low-end value in super-deep PPR leagues, though his ceiling is extremely low.

J.D. McKissic goes for 24 yards in loss

J.D. McKissic carried three times for nine yards, adding three receptions for 15 yards in the Lions’ 24-20 loss to the Bears on Thanksgiving.

Fantasy Impact

McKissic finished with just a handful of touches again, as Bo Scarborough ate up the backfield touches for Detroit. McKissic saw the same number of receptions as Ty Johnson and can no longer be counted on as even a deep-league PPR flex based on his low usage.

J.D. McKissic a non-factor in loss

J.D. McKissic rushed one time for three yards, adding two receptions for 17 yards in the Lions’ 19-16 loss to the Redskins on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact

McKissic failed to provide his typical PPR numbers, as he wasn’t involved in the passing game. Furthermore, his role as a rusher seems to have almost completely evaporated with Bo Scarborough entrenching himself as lead back. McKissic can still provide value as a deep-league option thanks to his usual involvement as a receiver, but he doesn’t warrant consideration in 12-team leagues.

J.D. McKissic logs six touches in loss

J.D. McKissic carried three times for 13 yards, adding three receptions for 40 yards in the Lions’ 35-27 loss to the Cowboys on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact

Despite Bo Scarborough starting and handling a huge chunk of backfield carries, McKissic stayed involved through his work in the receiving game. His pass-catching abilities give him some staying power in PPR leagues, though his ceiling is pretty low.
