Trey DePriest

Baltimore Ravens waived rookie linebacker Trey DePriest on Wednesday morning right before the OTA's, according to the team's website. DePriest played college football at Alabama where he played alongside the Ravens newest star linebacker C.J. Mosley. DePriest was signed by the Ravens on May 2 to a three-year contract with a sign-in bonus of $5,000. The Ravens released DePriest to make room on the roster to re-sign rookie linebacker Andrew Bose.

Fantasy Impact

Last season at Alabama, DePriest recorded 88 tackles, one forced fumble and three passes defensed and had a career 237 tackles, two sacks, three forced fumbles, two forced recoveries and one interception. With his tackling ability, the Ravens should re-sign him to the practice squad before he gets claimed by another team.
