He's not for those who are risk-adverse, as he's never played all 16 games. In fact, he has averaged just 10.4 games played over his five-year career, with a career-low of six games last year. Still, when on the field, he's been one of the top-five tight ends in the game, and the arrival of Alex Smith doesn't hurt at all, as he's produced a couple top-five tight ends in his time. Reports out of Washington suggest that Reed looks better than he has in years.
