With just one game over 22 receiving yards in his final seven appearances and Jauan Jennings overtaking him as the 49ers' top target, Samuel's role evaporated quickly. Now 29 and traded to Washington for a fifth-round pick, he's operating on a reworked one-year deal. His extensive injury history, declining efficiency, and potential screen pass-based usage in the Commanders' offense make him likely overvalued.
