Versatile offensive weapon. However, is not just limited to that hybrid role. Shenault is a powerful wide receiver who turns into a running back with the ball in his hands. Thick, sturdy build and powerful lower body. Explosive. Good route runner with phenomenal body control to be able to break easily in and out of his routes. Has enough deep speed to set up defenders well on comebacks, etc. Excellent athlete and that translates to all metrics. Will blow up the Combine. Good hands in contested situations in short range. Natural receiver. Tough to evaluate deep ball contested situations due to underthrows, etc. but seemed unwilling to go up and get it in those situations. Great release off the LOS and his lower body explosiveness allows him to take advantage of defenders guessing where he's going to go. Great top end speed and will hit another gear in the open field. Great awareness for a WR and competitive. Wants the ball in his hands. Used all over the field at Colorado from Wildcat to in the slot to boundary receiver. Injury concerns are there with Viska. Also concerns regarding his role in the NFL. Would need to go to a creative offensive mind in order for true fantasy success. Overall, a great athlete who has become more and more refined as a route runner and true wide receiver. Great talent and should be successful in the NFL if given the opportunity to utilize his athleticism.

Laviska Shenault Jr. sees four targets in loss to Cleveland

Laviska Shenault Jr. caught three of four targets for 31 yards and rushed one time for six yards on Sunday as the Jaguars lost to the Browns by a 27-25 score in Week 12 action

Fantasy Impact

Shenault returned after missing two games with a hamstring issue and found himself at the top of the depth chart with both D.J. Chark and Chris Conley out with injuries. The rookie has breakout potential but has yet to fully show it and is only worth a stash on the bench in fantasy leagues.
