FantasyPros
Brown is the only Ravens wideout that you should feel comfortable plugging into your lineup this week and he could be in line for a huge game. The Ravens are going to have to throw the ball more than they have the past couple of weeks, which means more opportunity for Brown. He should see 6-8 targets in this game and he always has the potential to find the end zone. He's a solid WR2 start in this shootout matchup.Scott was a favorite for some in the fantasy football community heading into draft season, but he's simply not seeing the work necessary to be a reliable fantasy asset. With Sanders back in the lineup, Scott only saw seven touches in week two and that's simply not going to get it done. Scott can remain on your bench or can be dropped to the waiver wire if a better option is available.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
It felt like we hit the rewind button to 2019 last week when the Ravens receivers totaled just 14 targets during the game. Though six of them went to Brown, they amounted to just five catches for 42 scoreless yards. There are a lot of people who believe that the Chiefs are always ahead and that it leads to a lot of passing attempts for the other team, which means a lot of fantasy points for wide receivers. That's not true. Did you know the Chiefs allowed the fewest yards in the league to wide receivers last year? Will Fuller's 112 yards in Week 1 was just the second time in 18 games they've allowed a 100-yard receiver. Keep in mind there have been 15 wide receivers who've seen at least eight targets during that span. Now, with that being said, they were already down one starting cornerback to suspension, but they were also down another starting cornerback last week, as Charvarius Ward did not play through his fractured hand. There's no guarantee he plays on Monday night. That would mean fourth-round rookie L'Jarius Sneed and last year's sixth-round pick Rashad Fenton would be starting on the perimeter. That duo has allowed 25 receptions for 283 yards and three touchdowns on 43 targets over their short careers. The matchup is better than it typically is. You should trot Brown out there as a low-end WR2 with some upside in a projected shootout.Based on what we saw in Week 2, Sanders is 100 percent healthy. He played 77 percent of the snaps, which is massive for a player in Doug Pederson's offense. Now a big home favorite, can we get a breakout game from him in Week 3? When playing the Bengals, the gap between running backs and quarterbacks is 24.6 fantasy points, which is the second-highest gap in the league. Despite the additions the Bengals made this offseason, they still appear to be a team you can run the ball against, as Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt showcased on primetime last week. We watched the Chargers and Browns both rack up at least 32 carries in this matchup, which bodes well for Sanders, and maybe even Scott. The Bengals allowed 19 running backs to finish as top-20 options against them last year and have allowed three of them through two games in 2020. The Eagles offensive line is a problem, but we can't pretend that the Browns or Washington have offensive lines that are great, and they were able to make it work. Start Sanders as an RB1 in this matchup. Scott touched the ball seven times in Sanders' return to the lineup, which isn't great, but what is great is the fact that it was only those two (Sanders and Scott) who touched the ball. If we get anywhere close to the 35 touches per game running backs have averaged against the Bengals here, Scott could offer last-minute RB4 value, especially in PPR formats.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
Kansas City is 5th against fantasy wide receivers through 2 games, Brown is a boom / bust deep threat in a game that could turn into a shootout on MNF.
