FantasyPros
Over the last two weeks, we've watched McCoy out-snap (53 to 38) and out-touch (24 to 13) Williams. It's also fair to say that McCoy has looked a lot better while averaging 5.4 yards per carry while Williams has averaged just 1.3 yards per carry. McCoy is the starter in this offense with Williams mixed in. That's important because Reid is likely to go back to his run-heavy ways with the offense. The Packers are the perfect team to try and impose their will on, too. On the year, they've allowed a league-high 4.99 yards per carry and it's led to the fifth-most points to running backs. The only concern is them being gamescripted out of it, but the defense has played well at home, which is why we should be somewhat optimistic. We have seen running backs average 28.6 touches per game against the Packers, which is more than enough for their timeshare, too. Every running back who's totaled at least 12 touches against them has finished as a top-26 running back, and McCoy should have no problem getting into that territory. He can be played as a low-end RB2/high-end RB3 with upside if the 65/35 split continues.Coming out of the bye week, this is likely our last chance to hope for a workhorse out of this backfield. That's the time you can make dramatic changes if you want to, so here's to hoping. The two split just 12 carries in London and neither of them saw a single target. You'd think an offense that's averaging 28.8 points per game (4th in the NFL) would produce some useful fantasy performances, right? The Titans aren't a great matchup for running backs who aren't involved in the passing game, as they've allowed just 10 rushing touchdowns over the 23 games under Mike Vrabel. They have faced a league-high 61 targets to running backs, which has propelled them to allow the 16th-most fantasy points to running backs. Breaking it down a bit further, they've allowed the 12th-fewest fantasy points on the ground to running backs, but the third-most points through the air. Knowing that Barber has nine targets on the year while Jones has six, this matchup can be a problem for fantasy owners. The fact that opposing running backs have combined for just 19.7 carries per game doesn't bode well for a timeshare. Both of these running backs should be considered middling RB4s with minimal upside and low floors.

FantasyPros
McCoy seems to have locked down the Chiefs RB1 job, even if that means only 20 carries in the past two games combined. It remains to be seen what happens with the absence of Patrick Mahomes for the next few weeks. Consider McCoy a serviceable RB2 with limited upside unless the Chiefs game plan shifts drastically.
