FantasyPros
Bell was placed on short-term IR after he suffered a hamstring injury in Week 1. He'll be eligible to return in Week 5, after which you should again value him as a borderline RB2 in half- and full-PPR formats. The Jets' offense will likely be underwhelming all year, but Bell is one of the team's few weapons, and should see plenty of action upon his return.

Draftwize
Jets coach Adam Gase said Le'Veon Bell (hamstring) "could be out a couple weeks." Gase refused to give a timeline on Bell's absence but, for what it's worth, said he wouldn't be surprised if Bell comes back "quicker than anticipated" based on his conditioning at the start of camp. Bell suffered his soft tissue injury in the first quarter but attempted to play through it, inevitably ceding carries to both Josh Adams and Frank Gore in the second half. This will most likely be a split backfield going forward because Gase doesn't know how to use RB talent to his advantage.
