Matthews tallied two assists in what would eventually be an overtime loss to the Washington Capitals.
Fantasy Impact:
After just being named the NHL rookie of the month for December, Matthews continued to add to his point streak of seven games with two assists against the Capitals. Matthews continues to emerge as one of the top offense threats on a very young but very talented Maple Leafs team.
