Polak scored the Maple Leafs second goal in their 4-0 shutout win over the Detroit Red Wings Wednesday night. He finished the game with two shots on goal and a plus-two rating in over 19 minutes of ice time.

Although Polak has been a solid defenseman for the Maple Leafs this season, his name has not been seen on the score sheet very often. In 41 games played this year, Polak only has three goals and two assists.
