Thomas Vanek agreed to terms with the Vancouver Canucks on a one-year contract worth $2 million dollars. (TSN.ca)

Splitting time last season with Detroit and Florida, Vanek posted 17 goals and 31 assists in 68 games played. The veteran winger will add some leadership and goal scoring punch to a Canucks lineup that finished 29th in goals scored last season.
