Aaron Ekblad collects two points

Aaron Ekblad potted a goal and dished out a power-play assist in Florida's 5-2 victory over the Blues on Thursday. He finished the night with a plus-three rating.
Fantasy Impact:
Ekblad now has three points (one goal and two assists) and a plus-two rating through three games. He is averaging 21:22 time on ice, including 2:35 on the power-play and 3:06 when short-handed. The 21-year-old defenseman has suffered a number of serious concussions already in his young career. If Ekblad can stay healthy, however, he is capable of being one of the top young defenders in the game. He and Keith Yandle comprise Florida's top defensive pair, and with the talent of the rest of the team's core, Ekblad should be able to register 40-plus points.
