Gustav Nyquist tallied two goals and an assist in Detroit's 6-3 win over the Golden Knights on Friday. He finished the night at plus-one.
Fantasy Impact:
Nyquist recorded his first points of the season, having been held off the scorecard in his first four games this season. The 28-year-old right wing has seen his shooting percentage and goal production decline annually since his breakout 2013-14 season, an obvious frustration to his fantasy owners. If Nyquist plays a more decisive game, as he did last season when Thomas Vanek was traded to Florida, he is capable of a 50-plus season.
