Matt Benning with goal, assist in convincing win over Columbus

Benning sent a shot on net during a second period powerplay that created a fat rebound to the left. Mike Cammelleri picked it up and fed Ryan Nugent-Hopkins across at the right circle for the powerplay marker. 10 minutes later in the period, Connor McDavid danced through the Columbus D with a Benning outlet pass, and the center, having drawn most of the attention, calmly dropped it to Matt Benning following up on the play down the middle to blast it home for the 3-0 Oilers lead.
