Cogliano lobbed one ito the crease looking for J.T. Brown, but Hellebuyck got a piece of it. Kesler collected portected it but was pushed towards the boards in the process. In a sudden move he spun around and released a shot that beat the goalie short side over his shoulder at 5:48 in the third.
