Connor McDavid scores a hatty in Denver

McDavid tied the game twice before slotting an empty netter for the hat-trick to finish the game off. His first came midway throught the game as a point shot deflected across crease off Patrick Maroon's body and found McDavid alone with a wide open net. He followed up with a beautiful counter 9 minutes into the third as the Oilers went 2-on-2 with a Kris Russell steal and McDavid used Leon Draisaitl as the perfect screen to beat Varlamov with a stick side wrister.
