Fowler activated from the blueline to pick up a Rickard Rakell rebound far side, carry it just below the goalline and make a centering pass into the crowd in front to find Rakell for the goal. Late in the final frame, Fowler took a Henrique pass at the blueline and sent it past a screened Bobrosvky from the high slot.
