Elias Peterrson starts his NHL career with five points in two games

by Nicholas Alatriste | Canucks Correspondent | Tue, Oct 9th 11:04am EDT

The budding star got off to an incredible start in the Canucks' two games against Calgary. In his first game he saw just 10 minutes of ice time and chipped in a goal and an assist. He followed that up with 16 minutes of ice time with two goals, an assist and five shots on goal.

Fantasy Impact:

The early Calder Trophy front runner's blazing start cements his status as a must own fantasy asset. He is currently anchoring the second line with Nikolay Goldobin and Loui Eriksson on his wings. The most intriguing thing so far has been his role on the top powerplay unit. The unit features Brock Boeser, Sven Baertschi, Bo Horvat and Alexander Edler. The 19-year-old Swede will look to keep it rolling in tonight's match up with the Carolina Hurricanes.
