Elias Petterson scored his fifth goal of the young season in Vancouver's 3-2 win over the Panthers Saturday.

It wasn't all good news for Petterson, who left the game with a head injury after a vicious hit from Florida's Mike Matheson, who threw Petterson to ice after contact. More is expected to be known about Petterson's health status Sunday. The rookie is off to an good start, so any missed time would be an obvious disappointment.
