Nathan Mackinnon sets franchise record

Nathan Mackinnon set a new Avalanche record on Tuesday night but in a losing cause as they fell to the Rangers 3-2 in a shootout.
Fantasy Impact:
Mackinnon has registered a goal in six straight games passing Mats Sundin and the record he set back in the 1992/93 season for the Quebec Nordiques. The whole forward line got a point on the play and the tally brings Mackinnon up to seven goals on the year so far. We don't expect him to keep this pace but he's firing out of the gates and is a great sign for things to come for fantasy owners.
