Samuel Girard scores first of the season

Samuel Girard buried his first goal of the season on Friday night helping the Avs beat the Senators 6-3.
Fantasy Impact:
Along with it being Girards first goal of the season, it was the first goal scored by the Avalanche defensive corps. He was floating open through the slot and a stray rebound found the stick of Nathan Mackinnon, only to be passed to Girard and he quick released one right passed Craig Anderson. He'll look to ride the momentum with a back to back game tonight vs. Minnesota.
