Mike Matheson scored the first Florida goal Saturday versus New Jersey. It was his first point of the season.

Matheson improved from his first full season in 2016-17 to 2017-18 in many categories. If he takes a step up from his 27 points and 61 PIM, he will move from a deepish league option to being usable in the majority of leagues.
