Matt Duchene scores two and adds assist in Senators win

by Erik Allen Zingg | Stars Correspondent | Sun, Nov 18th 12:01pm EST

Matt Duchene had a three-point effort in the Senators 6-4 win over the Penguins on Saturday night. Duchene's first point of the game was his 7th goal of the season which he scored in the first period. Duchene followed that up with an assist on Cody Ceci's second period goal. He finished his scoring for the game in the third period with his 8th goal of the season.

Fantasy Impact:

It's hard to say who is the better Senator, Matt Duchene or Mark Stone. Both are off to terrific starts. Duchene is the leading scorer on the team after a 3-point effort on Saturday night. Duchene now has 8 goals and 16 assists through 20 games for a well over a point-per-game pace. Duchene has scored as many as 70 points in a season and he seems likely to reach that or surpass that this year. Duchene is on the top power play line and teams up with rookie sensation Drake Batherson on the second even strength line. Duchene should be owned and started in all fantasy formats.
