Erik Johnson scores one in victory

Erik Johnson buried a goal on Wednesday night helping the Avalanche overcome the Pittsburgh Penguins 6-3. He finished the game with one point, a plus-4 rating, a team high six shots, and two hits.

Fantasy Impact:

A very nice fantasy game for a d-man. Especially the six shots on goal. He ripped a shot from the right point and beat Tristan Jarry low and away for his second of the season. Johnson is starting to gain momentum and should start to see more points fall his way. He will typically provide solid numbers in the hits and blocks categories and if he's feeding Colorado's top line from the rear guard, that can only mean good things for him on the score sheet. He's only 41% owned in Yahoo! leagues and could sneak into your lineup as a nice defensive acquisition come December.
