Matt Duchene had a two-point night in the Senators 3-0 win over the New York Rangers on Thursday night. Duchene's first point was an assist on Drake Batherson's first period goal. Duchene followed that up with his 12th goal of the season in the second period.

Fantasy Impact:

Matt Duchene is off to a scintillating start this season. This could be his best season yet. Duchene has a career-high of 70 points but with 12 goals and 21 assists through 26 games he appears on his way to topping that number. Duchene is centering the top even strength line and getting second power play unit duty as well. The former first round pick has had successful seasons in the past with the Colorado Avalanche but it appears the best has yet to come. Duchene is a must own and start in every fantasy format.
