Mike Smith earned his 3rd straight win in the Flames 3-2 win over Chicago on Sunday. Mike Smith stopped 22 of 24 shots to increase his win total to 8 with 7 losses.
Fantasy Impact:
After a rocky start to the season and losing starts to David Rittich it appears Mike Smith is rounding into top form. Smith has won his last 3 games and has improved his GAA to 3.05 and his save percentage at .886. Smith still could use some more strong starts to make those numbers a little more palatable but he appears to be headed in the right direction. Smith is a decent 3rd goalie in fantasy as long as he is getting the majority of the starts.
