Auston Matthews scored the game's first goal —and the last— an overtime winner, as the Leafs defeated the Sabres 4-3.

Matthews also assisted on a third period game tying goal by Patrick Marleau. Matthews hasn't missed a beat since missing 14 games with a shoulder injury. The Maple Leafs have now won five straight. Their 20-8-0 record represents the club's best start in 84 years.
