Kasperi Kapanen got the scoring started with a first period goal Thursday night. The Maple Leafs would fall to the Red Wings 4-3 in overtime.

The 22-year-old Kapanen has flourished this season with 21-points in 28 games. He's teetering outside the Top 100 NHL Fantasy players and has put to rest the scrutiny he faced when he was traded as part of a package from Pittsburgh for fan-favorite Phil Kessel. Pick him up if you see him on waivers.
