Marcus Johansson gets a goal and an assist in Devils loss

by Erik Allen Zingg | Wild Correspondent | Mon, Dec 10th 1:05am EST

Marcus Johansson had a two point night in the Devils 6-5 OT loss to the Ducks on Sunday night. Johansson’s first point came on his 6th assist of the season on Damon Severson’s goal in the first period. Johansson got his own goal, his 6th, in the third period.

Fantasy Impact:

Marcus Johansson has started to get things going over the past 8 games with 4 goals and 3 assists in that span. Johansson in his second season with Devils is trying to rediscover the magic he had in his last season with the Capitals when he had 58 points. So far on this season Johansson has 6 goals and 6 assists through 26 games. Johansson is on both the second even strength and power play units so he should get good scoring opportunities. Johansson is a good medium to deep league fantasy player.
