Frederik Anderson injury prompts trade

According to Kristen Shilton on Twitter, the Maple Leafs have acquired goalie Michael Hutchinson from the Florida Panthers in exchange for a fifth-round pick in 2020. (source)
Fantasy Impact:
Hutchinson will be added to the AHL Toronto Marlies. The move is supposedly to improve the club's goalie depth, but until more is known about the severity of Frederik Anderson's injury, it's rather ominous news for both Anderson owners and Leafs fans. Toronto had admirable depth at goalie until they placed Curtis McElhinney (CAR) and Calvin Pickard (ARI) on waivers just days before the season opener.
