Elias Pettersson completed a hat trick in overtime —the first of his career— as the Canucks defeated the Senators 4-3 Wednesday night.

Fitting that Pettersson's first career hat trick comes on the day he was named the NHL's Rookie of the Month for December. The twenty-year-old now has 39 points through his first 36 NHL games —and is carrying many a fantasy hockey team.
