Mark Scheifele scored the opening goal in the Jets 5-2 loss to the Canadiens on Thursday. He was a minus two with one goal, two PIM and two SOG in 19:31 of ice-time.

Anyone who drafted Scheifele this season should be extremely happy with his results. He now has 27 goals and 36 assists thru 53 games. Remarkably his most impressive stat is that he is a plus 18 this season.
