Kevin Shattenkirk provided an assist for the second consecutive game on Ryan Strome's third period goal. New York would wind up losing 3-2 in regulation to Detroit.
Fantasy Impact:
Shattenkirk has been adding up the assists recently with eight of them in his last 12 games played. While he did pick up his 24th assist of the season Tuesday night against Detroit, he still ended the game with a minus-2 rating. Through 64 games played he has a minus-13 rating which offsets his assist production, and any kind of possible remaining fantasy value.
