Pavel Buchnevich provided a secondary assist on Ryan Strome's late third period goal to pull the Rangers within one against Detroit Tuesday. Unfortunately for New York, the Red Wings would end up prevailing 3-2 in regulation handing them their fifth straight loss.
Fantasy Impact:
Buchnevich has produced points in three of his last five games played and that is very encouraging for the Rangers' future. As one of the more experienced forwards on this squad right now, New York hopes to rely on Buchnevich lead this offense in future seasons to come.
