Alexandar Georgiev plays admirably in SO loss Friday

Alexandar Georgiev stopped 39 out of 41 shots faced against the Columbus Blue Jackets Friday evening. The Blue Jackets would soon get the better of Georgiev as they won in the SO to clinch a playoff berth.
Fantasy Impact:
Georgiev has played well with the increased starts he has experienced this season. The Rangers are trying to expose Georgiev to a starter's type of workload as a way of grooming him for the inevitable day where Henrik Lundqvist retires. He currently has a 13-13-4 record with a 2.91 GAA and a 0.914 SV%. He looks to finish strong between the pipes Saturday against Pittsburgh.
