Marcus Johansson sparks Bruins in win
by Peter Gustavson | Wild Correspondent | Fri, May 10th 9:53am EDT
Marcus Johansson scored a third period goal during Boston’s 5-2 win over Carolina in Game 1 of Eastern Conference Finals on Thursday. He also assisted on a first period goal to open the scoring for the Bruins. Johansson has three goals and four assists to date in the playoffs.
Fantasy Impact:
Johansson was a driving force for Boston in this game. He single-handedly created the first Boston goal, causing a turnover and then finding a streaking Steven Kampfer down the middle. His third period goal tied the game at 2-2 and fueled a dominant period for the Bruins that saw the team ultimately score four times. If he can continue to generate secondary scoring from Boston's third line, the Bruins will be tough to beat.
